Kenneth MacLeod, formerly the subject network leader at Inverness College UHI has joined the UBC Group as Managing Surveyor.
Welcoming Kenny to the company, Chief Executive of UBC, James Pedrana said:
“I am delighted that Kenny has joined us. He adds another important dimension to our company. In his previous role at the UHI he helped create a new science degree in sustainable construction – I believe it is the first of its kind in the UK. The UBC Group is committed to helping pioneer sustainable and environmentally acceptable methods of construction. I am very pleased to have as part of our group the person who designed a degree course in construction that is tailored for the modern age”.
Kenneth MacLeod said; “ I enjoyed my time with the university of the highlands and islands – but I am already enjoying working with and helping one of the most progressive and ambitious construction and civil engineering companies in the highlands, develop and grow”.
Kenneth was born and brought up in Point on the Isle of Lewis. He was the first and only graduate in 1995 of the Masters degree in construction law from the University of Strathclyde. As Managing Surveyor for the UBC Group - he works from the company's office in Inverness.
